Homework Room 8 Term 3 Week 4

Homework Week 4– Term 3

As children have responsibilities with animals and projects for Ag Day, the Junior School teachers have decided to lessen the homework load.

Your child will still bring a reader home every night and will be required to read it and return it to school the next day.

For children completing projects, a sheet will be coming out which will provide a timeline to assist with the making of the scarecrows.

Thank you 

Room 8 is still in desperate need of crafts for our puppet making. Things like old socks, buttons, pipe cleaners, scraps of coloured card, wool etc will be most appreciated and very useful.

Homework Room 9 Term 3 Week 4

Read each night and record the number of pages read as well as the name of the person who asked you questions.

Hi Everyone!
Just a few pieces of information for you this week...
Homework has dramatically reduced as children are expected to work consistently on the Ag Day projects that will go home today OR work with their animals each afternoon.
Please note that at the year 3 level I have a high expectation for the presentation and paper work for the project. This will be discussed with the children.
Also we have planted our summer crops in our vegetable garden. I have been given around 40 green avocados to sell in order to raise funds for our garden. These will be sold at the gate tomorrow afternoon but if you would like to purchase some before they are sold at the gate fill in the slip below and send it to school with your child tomorrow. The orders will be fulfilled and the remainder will be sold at the gate. They are being sold for $1 each.
If you have any citrus (lemons or mandarins) at home that the children can sell to raise funds for the garden please send those along to school tomorrow as well. Any plastic bags for packaging would also be greatly appreciated.
