Homework Room 8 Term 3 Week 3

For our next topic we will be making puppets. If anyone has any crafts or objects that we could use for this it would be awesome if you could get your child to bring them to school.


Reading

Spelling
As I was out of the classroom a lot last week, I don’t feel that the spelling words were developed enough with Room 8. I have decided to give the children another week on them so I can support the learning of the words in the classroom.

Spelling words: Please practise reading and spelling these words with your child.

Maths- Get your child to practice writing and saying the following out loud:

Rectangles
Skip counting in 2s forwards and backwards to 100

Squares
Skip counting backwards in 2s from 20 to 1.

Triangles
Practise basic facts to 10. (Eg, 6+4= __)

Circles
Practise basic facts to 10. (Eg, 6+4= __)
