Homework Room 8 Term 3 Week 1

Welcome back to Term 3!
Cross country is continuing this term – please remember a change of clothes and shoes.
Just to make you all aware, next week I will only be in the classroom Tuesday and Friday. I am lucky enough to be going on some great courses with my colleagues.


Reading
Thank you to those who have returned readers from earlier in the year. This is much appreciated as the school cannot afford to be replenishing readers constantly.
Please read with your child each night and ensure you return the reader the next day. Many children will be bringing home longer readers, so I will be focusing on these over a couple of days to cover them thoroughly.

Spelling
This week we have been looking at the ‘sm’ sound. Get your child to brainstorm as many words with the ‘sm’ sound in it.
