Homework Room 8 Term 2 Week 6

I hope you all had a lovely relaxing long weekend and enjoyed the extra day off.
Next week is the start of Book Weeks throughout the school. Dress up day is on Friday 17th June. This involves your child dressing up as their favourite book character and bringing the book to school to share. This will be a fun event and Miss Hodge will even be dressing up!
The Book Fair will run from the 15th June to 24th June. This gives your child the opportunity to fill out a ‘wish list’ of the books they want.

Reading
Readers each week, please ensure the sheet at the back of your child’s homework book is filled out. It is also an excellent idea to read a book together as a family.




Spelling
This week we are focusing on the letter ‘u’. Get your child to brainstorm as many words as they can with the letter ‘u’ in it.
