COMMUNICATION
Communication is the key to our successful partnership in supporting your child’s learning. Our team will endeavour to make sure that we communicate our concerns and celebrations quickly and clearly with you, our parents and we would appreciate you doing the same. No matter is too small and we all know that addressing concerns together at the early stages prevents them from growing into bigger concerns.

The process for addressing concerns is first and foremost talking directly with the classroom teacher. My role as team leader is to facilitate and support these discussions when required or to answer queries that relate more to the structure of the team, behaviour management or the curriculum we have devised. We can be reached either by visiting our classrooms before or after school (or 1B in my case – between Rooms 1 and 2), leaving a message at the office or emailing. We are happy to meet with you before or after school, depending on our commitments. At this stage our teaching team has meetings on Tuesdays, before and after school and some Thursdays.
